Nature’s Hand will provide the following Doula services:
• Initial consultation Free
Once retained for services, you can expect:
• A pre-natal visit, in your home where the Doula will discuss at length and in depth your visions, ideas, questions and
concerns regarding your labor and birth.
• Telephone and e-mail contact/support as needed.
• A Doula will be on-call for you from the moment you hire us, but starting at 36 weeks, we are on-call 24/7,
guaranteed.
• Once labor starts, the Doula will be in constant telephone contact with you and your partner. A Doula will come to
your home as soon (or as late!) as you desire and will stay with you throughout the rest of the labor and birth of your
baby. During the labor and birth, the Doula will provide physical as well as emotional comfort measures and provide you
with all the information you may need to make informed choices throughout your experience.
* After the birth, the Doula will stay with you until the first breastfeeding session has occurred and you are ready to
rest.
Postpartum:
• 1-2 postpartum visit in your home within 10 days of the birth where you will have a chance to discuss the birth
~Throughout your relationship with Nature’s Hand (and beyond), you can expect to have as many of your questions
answered and if anything is beyond our capacity, we have a referral list to guide you in finding the answers you need
Fees for Doula Services:
I work on a sliding scale fee between $1000.00-$1,500.00
Low cost Doulas available through B.E.B.O for those that qualify. See my events page for more information.
Payments can be made via PayPal, Money Order, Check or Cash
Childbirth Education:

1. $300.00- 6 week session (group)
2. $350.00- 4 week session (private)
3. $400.00- Accelerated 2 all day weekend session (private or group)

This service came about by the need I have witnessed for more information on this birthing option.
Some women are not even aware that it is an option. There are many question that women have
and much misinformation is out there about Homebirth. Also for the women who have made the
decision already but would like family members to be present to ask question so that they can
better support her choice in Homebirth. With over 10 years of experience in the field, and being a
Homebirth Mother myself, I have created lasting bonds and have worked as an assistant with a
lot of the local Homebirth Midwives in NY and some in NJ. They have all been great teachers to
me and I hope to return the favor by educating women and families on the safety and the option
